Susan Boyle - British Idol Star

Posted by admin | Entertainment | Tuesday 21 April 2009 1:28 am

Susan Boyle first appeared on Britain’s Got Talent although she has been singing for a long time. She captivated the audience when she sang “I dreamed a dream” from Les Miserables. Susan Boyle is a very talented woman. Man does she have a beautiful singing voice. I wonder if she had any singing lessons or if it just comes natural. Susan Boyle is 47 years old and she is from Blackburn in Western Scotland. She recorded her first song in 99 when she sang Blues Ballad “Cry Me A River” for charity. Only 1000 copies of her soundtrack were sold. I have the song below.

Susan Boyle sings Cry Me A River

Susan Boyle won’t be singing again till the end of May when she is scheduled to appear in Britain’s Got Talent. In an interview with Larry king she was asked how fame would change her life and she replied, “Well, I won’t be lonely. I certainly won’t be lonely any more.” America is showing a big response to this underdog. People love to see the least likely succeed against all odds. She is definitely one of a kind and we hope she makes it to the top. God bless you Susan.

Several times in my life I have met someone that appeared to be something they were not. A young man who had trouble keeping a beat, but could play the piano with the best. A slightly over weight co-worker who did not seem to be co-ordinated, but could hit a soft ball a mile, and a child who had trouble playing attention at football practice who turned a game around with his hustle and acceptional play. Life is full of suprises and it is refreshing to see there is more to a book than its cover…..there is more to a person outside than what is in their heart.

Susan your voice is so lovely it takes the breath away. I hope you can get a copy of the tape, and see Simon’s face with your 2 words. It is priceless. I had to laugh when he tried to cover it up by saying he knew when he first saw you that he was in for something amazing. He had no clue, just how amazing. I would like to be put on a list to receive every song you have ever recorded and will record in the future. Your voice is the only voice I ever heard that I liked more than Julie Andrews.

You go girl, I hope this is your time.

Another Cinderella story. Judged, mocked, Laughed at because of how she looked. God brought her on the stage to REMIND us NEVER to judge. I hope we can all learn to humble ourselves once again. Thank you for giving us to INSPIRE about, Susan. God sent you to us! One of the BIGGEST STORY EVER TOLD. Im’ too addicted watching her. I can’t get anything done. She lifts up and heal my spirits. Susan Boyle you are such an inspiration!

  44. Comment by Phoenix — April 27, 2009 @ 2:50 pm

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard a voice, particularly female, that I enjoy listening to as much as I do yours. God broke the mold when He gave you the gift of your unbelievable talent. I too was blessed as a singer, but being heavy, knew I’d never make the big time. I found my place doing solos and singing in a quartet for a contempoirary Christian service at my church. I am pulling for you like no one ever before to show the world you don’t have to look like a super-model to have amazing talent. You give all of us who have a decent to big talent in one area, but don’t fit society’s idea of beauty, a hero to root for. I too, cannot wait to buy and enjoy your music. Start recording and keep going as long as you can, because you have a world of people now, as well as all who will be born in the future, to bless over and over with your voice. One last thing - as a trained singer, I’m very aware one of the aspects that is hardest to learn if it doesn’t come naturally is how to deliver a song. You’ve absolutely got that in ACES, girlfriend. I’ve listened to all the versions of I Dreamed a Dream that I’ve been able to find, and to the great Ella Fitzgerald’s Cry Me a River. You sing circles around ALL of them!!! You’re simply Susan-sational!!!

  45. Comment by Juan — April 28, 2009 @ 9:19 am

Susan cry me a river i think it was a joking, but is really true, I think you are a great and wonderful singer, the song cry me a river, is very very beautiful I am hewar this song 4 times i love this song, i think you are going to grow up for all the world.
    God bless Susan Boyle

  46. Comment by Alyce Maragus — April 28, 2009 @ 3:52 pm

Susan I have been so impressed not only with your truly magnificent version of “I Dreamed A Dream” but also with the reaction by the skeptic judges. You absolutely blew them away.
I would hope that anyone suggesting a make-over would not change you dramatically. Glamour fades. Your beauty is forever. I would also dare to suggest, should you be invited to record an album, that your first effort should include songs that highlight your special talent. By that I mean, dramatic; such as Memories from CATS!;Impossible Dream from Man From LaMancha: How Great Thou Art - religious and perhaps “What Kind of Fool Am I. All of these songs would show off you beautiful vocal range.

Such an amazing voice and especially when you sang my favourite song from Les Miserables..I Dreamed A Dream…just beautiful…it moved me to tears it was so beautiful. Good to see someone like you succeed and reach for the top…you deserve it! I wish I just had even a little bit of your talent.

As a “mature” Katrina survivor on the Mississippi Gulf Coast who is still struggling with many issues, hearing your voice was a breath of fresh air! Every time I watch the video, I can’t help but cry. We too are still looked upon with skepticism from “other states”, but want our voice to be heard. Being “back to normal” will not happen in my lifetime.

Hearing the pure beauty of your voice made me forget everything! Today is my husband’s and my wedding anniversary. It has been a little somber. Until now.

What luck to find this video while “Stumbling”! It is, and you are, a real treasure. And, somehow, your story gives us hope and inspiration!

I can’t wait for your voice to be put on media we can purchase and listen to time and time again!

From one of your biggest fans in the Southern USA!

“I GOTTA BE ME”. I almost think this would be perfect.

I am so sosrry that Susan has not won Britain’s Got Talent. Perhaps if her critics had not been so hard on her she could have succeeded. Now it remains to be seen just where her future lies. It seemed her “dream” was to be able to perform before the queen and ‘here’s hoping” your dream will still come true.
She deserves that chance! GOOD LUCK SUSAN whatever you do.
